Hi, I'm Arya

I'm a Chartered Accountant with four years of hands-on experience running the finance function for small and growing businesses.

Most of my work happens in QuickBooks Online, Xero and Zoho Books: day-to-day bookkeeping, payables and receivables, bank and card reconciliations, payroll and the month-end close. I also take on cleanup and catch-up work for books that have fallen behind, and move businesses from one accounting system to another without losing their history.

Beyond the books, I prepare management reports, budgets and variance analysis, cash flow forecasts and financial models, including projections for loan and funding applications.

I've worked with businesses in real estate, hospitality, retail, construction, professional services and e-commerce, across the US, UK, Australia and the UAE. That includes local compliance such as Australian BAS, PAYG and superannuation, UK VAT returns in Xero, and support with US tax filings.

I like finance that runs on a system: written procedures, a fixed monthly timetable, and questions sent to you as one list rather than a stream of emails.
